Because help is needed

The Nehemia Christian Aid Organization arose out of the work of AVC (www.avc-de.org/en/home.html ). Founded as an aid organization in 1990, it has been taking care of many needy people ever since.  It is recognized as a non-profit-making organization.

Since it was founded, Nehemia has been helping people worldwide in many different ways. In this work, we, as committed Christians, allow ourselves to be led by the basic principle of Christian love and compassion. Aid is given irrespective of a person's beliefs or background. For years, Nehemia has had a good and successful cooperation with the Department for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany in the area of disaster aid.

Neediness in the world is not getting any less, it is increasing. As long as the need exists, so does our responsibility to help. The work can only be accomplished by many people working together. Nehemia wants to do its part in this – in close cooperation with AVC International in many fields. We would be glad to have you at our side as a partner, too.
