2001: The earthquake in India left behind huge damage. We reconstructed approx. 800 houses.

Not all disasters are on the same scale as the tsunami of December 2004. But all disasters bring a great deal of suffering, misery and (the threat of) loss of human life. With the large number of emergencies we are, of course, unable to help everywhere. But we do what we can within the realms of our possibilities. We have been working together with the German Department for Foreign Affairs since the year 2000, covering 18 disaster situations to date.
