»Apprentice« in Pakistan

They were given an opportunity - and they used it

in Pakistan. This is a contribution to the rebuilding of the country after the devastating flood disaster in 2010. In cooperation with a partner organization in the Northwest of the country, Nehemia offers the “apprentices” a one year training program in textiles, computers, car mechanics or carpentry. In the course of this first year the group of apprentices is hoped to reach 45 and more professions are to be added. A further extension of the program is planned for the coming year.

“I am very grateful that I can take part in this apprentice scheme. It will help my family financially very much,” says a participant doing textiles.

This training scheme is supported by sponsorships. If you are interested in helping, please contact Frank Göttel (f.goettel@nehemia.org), Tel. 06043 9869 570.
