The work of NEHEMIA is funded by means of voluntary donations. For projects carried out in cooperation with the Department for Foreign Affairs we receive subsidies from the government. It is thanks to the faithfulness of our God and of our supporters that we have been able to reach hundreds of thousands of people with our aid. We are conscious of our responsibility to use the donations very sparingly and effectively.

NEHEMIA is registered as a non-profit / charitable organization meaning that donations made by tax-payers in Germany are tax-deductible. A donation receipt will automatically be sent at the beginning of every calendar year to all those who have made a donation.

Donations made for a specific purpose will be used by us for that purpose. However, should there be an excess of funds for a particular project, we will use the surplus money for something as close as possible to the intended purpose.
